This notice explains what happens to the details you send us through medivance.com.pk. It covers this website only.
What we collect
If you fill in the contact form, we receive the name, organisation, email address, telephone number, reason for enquiry and message that you type in. Our server also records the IP address the form was sent from, which we use to stop automated spam.
We do not ask for and do not want patient-identifiable clinical information through this form. If you are reporting a side effect, give us the brand, batch and a description — not a patient's name or record number.
Why we hold it
- To answer your enquiry and keep a record of what was asked and what we replied.
- To pass on reports of suspected adverse drug reactions or product quality defects to the people who have to act on them, including the manufacturer and the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan where reporting is required.
- To prevent abuse of the form.
Who sees it
Enquiries go to a Medivance mailbox and are read by the people who need to answer them. We do not sell contact details and we do not use them for unrelated marketing. Where an enquiry concerns a specific brand, the relevant manufacturer may be told about it — in the case of a safety report, that is a regulatory obligation.
The website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider, and email is delivered through our mail provider. Both process this data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Ordinary enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful to the conversation and then deleted. Safety reports are kept for as long as pharmacovigilance record-keeping requires. Spam-prevention records are discarded within hours.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It stores one item in your browser's session storage, to remember within a single visit that you confirmed you are a healthcare professional before viewing prescribing details. It is cleared when you close the tab and never leaves your device.
Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests files from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@medivance.com.pk or call 051-4855501. We may need to keep safety-related records even after such a request, because the law requires it.
